Lochs, Hills and Country Parks
Linlithgow Peel is the parkland where the ruins of Linlithgow Palace overlook the loch, and the loop around the water is about 4 km. Beecraigs Country Park, high in the Bathgate Hills, has a loch, woodland paths and a herd of red deer.
Almondell and Calderwood Country Park follows the River Almond between Broxburn and East Calder, with waymarked walks and a visitor centre. To widen the circle, look at members throughout Scotland.
