Meeting New People in the Kingdom of Fife

Fife, often called the Kingdom, has a long coastline dotted with harbour villages and a scattering of busy towns. WidowHearts gives widows and widowers here a settled, respectful space to meet people who appreciate both memories and new beginnings.

Members may come from St Andrews, Dunfermline, Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes, Cupar or the East Neuk. Join free, read a few profiles and send a message to anyone who seems kind. You can decide later whether and when to meet.

Beaches, Parks and Galleries

West Sands in St Andrews is the beach where a training run was filmed for the 1981 film Chariots of Fire, and a walk there passes the Eden Estuary nature reserve. Keep an eye on the tide. In Dunfermline, Pittencrieff Park, known locally as The Glen, was given to the people of the town by Andrew Carnegie and has resident peacocks.

Kirkcaldy Galleries, beside the War Memorial Gardens, brings together a museum, library and art collection with free entry, including many paintings by Samuel Peploe. If you are happy to look beyond Fife, see members from across Scotland.
