A Warm Welcome in Moray

Moray stretches from the shores of the Moray Firth up into the whisky glens of Speyside, and its towns have a friendly, unhurried feel. WidowHearts is a quiet corner of the internet for widows and widowers who would welcome fresh company.

Members may live in Elgin, Forres, Lossiemouth, Buckie, Keith or a village along the Spey. Everyone here has shared their life with a partner, so there is plenty of understanding. Sign up free, trade a few messages and only meet once it feels natural.

Peaceful Places Around Moray

Elgin Cathedral, known as the Lantern of the North, was dedicated in 1224 and is now a ruin cared for by Historic Environment Scotland. Its west front and octagonal chapter house still survive. In Forres, Grant Park was gifted to the town by Sir Alexander Grant, and its floral sculptures lead the town's entries in Scotland in Bloom.

For a longer ramble, the Speyside Way runs roughly 65 miles between Buckie and Aviemore, following the winding River Spey on old railway tracks for part of the route. You could walk a short stretch near Aberlour or Craigellachie. More members can be found across the rest of Scotland.
