Where to Meet in the North East
Duthie Park sits beside the River Dee in Aberdeen and is home to the David Welch Winter Gardens, where rare and exotic plants grow all year. The park also has a boating lake, a bandstand and a Japanese garden. At the southern end of the beachfront, the old fishing village of Footdee, known as Fittie, was built in 1809 with cottages facing inward around neat squares.
