Halls, Forests and Minsters
Wollaton Hall was built between 1580 and 1588 and has housed Nottingham's natural history museum since 1926, with deer roaming the surrounding park. Near Ravenshead, Newstead Abbey was the ancestral home of Lord Byron, and its gardens and lake are open to the public.
