Days Out Worth Sharing
The Giant's Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1986, holds about 40,000 interlocking basalt columns and is largely cared for by the National Trust. Carrickfergus Castle, built by John de Courcy in 1177, stands on the northern shore of Belfast Lough.
Inland, the Waterfall Walk at Glenariff Forest Park runs for about a mile and a half through a river gorge, with boardwalks and steps along the way. Members further afield are waiting too, so take a look around Northern Ireland.
