Places to Meet in Northland
In Whangarei, the Hatea Loop is an easy, surfaced 4.2 km walk from the Town Basin that takes about an hour and suits walkers of all abilities. A short drive away, Whangarei Falls drop 26 metres over basalt cliffs, with a loop track of about 1 km and picnic tables.
